Kamira Schimchak
Dr. Kamira Schimchak received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. Her interests lie both in surgery and pain management, prompting Dr. Schimchak to attend multiple continuing education classes to advance her skills as a surgeon, as well as to obtain licensure as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She continues to expand her knowledge in these fields to treat her patients holistically, attempting to obtain the most effective outcomes that both Eastern and Western medicine can provide.
Dr. Schimchak also has a special interest in dental disease in both dogs and cats, bringing more awareness to clients of this largely un-prioritized area of medicine that often significantly impacts patients’ health and quality of life. When Dr. Schimchak is not performing surgeries, dental procedures, acupuncture or routine vaccination appointments, she is often found in her art studio with her two rescue dogs, Potato and Mango.
